Wheelchair accessible transport
In most places in Indonesia, wheelchair-adapted vehicles are not yet available. For transport with wheelchair we use, therefore, portable ramps and minivans (usually Toyota Hiace or Isuzu Elf). Selected seats in the vans are removed to provide space to roll in by using our ramps. Inside, guests can transfer to the car seats, or stay seated in their wheelchair. Watch a video of our team using a portable ramp to enter a minivan.
Minivans with hydraulic lift are available in Bali. Again, you can move to a car seats, or stay in your wheelchair.
In Jakarta, a SUV with hydraulic lift is at your service.
For transport in between islands by aircraft, see our section about airports. If you wish to travel by train, please contact us to discuss the options. It is also possible to visit Indonesia on a cruise and let us arrange your day trips at various harbours.
